FRANCIS S. AURICCHIO, JR.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Francis S. Auricchio, Jr. has over 24 years of solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) experience in the satellite industry. As a senior scientist at Boeing Satellite Systems, formerly Hughes Space and Communications Company, he was responsible for the design, development, and production of solid-state power amplifiers and low noise amplifiers through millimeter wave frequencies. Fran held several management positions at Boeing, and was responsible for the solid-state power amplifier product line, the management of major external development subcontracts, and internal research and development activities. He has been the primary investigator in the evaluation of new devices and technologies for use in the development of microwave and millimeter wave amplifiers. Fran received a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.

MICHAEL MOLLIN

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Michael Mollin served as Vice President of Operations, Public Safety, Security and Industrial Systems Group at SYS Technologies since 2006. Prior to that, Mike was the President and Chief Operating Officer of L-3 Advanced Products and Design, a division of L-3 Communications Titan Group, from 1998 to 2006. Mike brings over 25 years of experience in providing services and solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from San Diego State University.

MICHAEL P. DELISIO, PH.D.

Chief Technical Officer and Founder

Michael DeLisio, Chief Technical Officer and Founder of Wavestream, is an internationally recognized expert on spatial power combining. He demonstrated the first watt-level output from a grid amplifier, and is an originator of the modeling technique used in the design of Grid Amplifiers. Mike is active in the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society and has published more than 50 papers in industry-respected journals and conferences. Mike earned a Ph.D. degree from Caltech, and taught engineering at the University of Hawaii before founding Wavestream.

CHAD DECKMAN, PH.D.

VP Research & Development and Founder

As Vice President Engineering and Founder of Wavestream, Chad Deckman brought the company’s core technology to the point at which commercialization was viable. Chad’s 38 GHz, 5-watt single chip Grid Amplifier still holds the record for the highest output power from a single chip at that frequency. Prior to co-founding Wavestream, Chad was a development engineer at Agilent. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Caltech.
